Two women in the Inland Northwest are working to preserve this critically endangered All-American Horse.

Descended from a single foundational mare called “Old Granny”, the American Cream Draft Horse is the only draft breed native to the United States.

Known for their signature cream-colored coat, pink skin, and amber eyes, this breed is considered ‘Critical’ by the Livestock Conservancy, with only 400 individual animals alive today.
