I took Darwin to our new favorite place, the dog park. I chose this location because I’m familiar with the layout and I could have a variety of subject (people, ducks, geese, or dogs). I specifically wanted to practice this concept in the late morning, because the lighting can be tricky, and I wanted to challenge myself.
I played around a lot with my camera today, which I think was a good thing. I was able to use settings I previously hadn’t tried before, and overall, I really enjoyed just familiarizing myself with my instrument to get a specific outcome.
I picked this photo out of 10 other photos. I don’t necessarily think it’s the best photo I took today, but I do think it is the best one that demonstrates the concept I was putting into practice.
